- Identify specific ways to make the family practice environment more quality focused for the patient, family physician and staff
- Recommend actions for implementing technological enhancements that will improve the efficiency of the practice environment

Seven Key Questions:
- What are people's perceived healthcare needs and what are the perceptions about how family practice can meet them?
- What are the challenges family practice must overcome to meet contemporary expectations of people?
- Why, if at all, would people select and prefer family physicians as their primary physicians?
- What, if anything, is distinct about family physicians?
- Is there a group for which family practice is irrelevant or makes no sense? If so, who?
- What are family practice's most promising, but unrealized, opportunities?
- Do people desire the core attributes of family practice (e.g., first contact, continuity, community basis and context, comprehensiveness)?
